Straight answers to what LA callers ask most, from pricing to canyon access. Nothing here is a sales script. If your question is not covered, call dispatch and Andre will answer it in plain terms.
Quick version: local crews start at $149/hr with a three-hour minimum, a $100 deposit holds your date, and every truck is licensed and insured with $1M cargo coverage.
Common questions
How much does a local move cost?
Two movers and a 26-ft truck run $149/hr, three movers $199/hr, and four movers $249/hr, all with a three-hour minimum. Prefer one locked number? A studio flat-rate lands around $495 to $695, and a two-bedroom around $1,150 to $1,750. See

How far ahead should I book?
For a weekday move, three to five days is usually enough. Month-end and the first of the month fill fast, so give us a week if you can. Same-day is possible when a crew is open, since dispatch runs 24/7.
Are you actually licensed and insured?
Yes. Pro Express is a California-licensed household-goods mover with US DOT and MC authority on file and $1M cargo coverage. Carmen can email a certificate of insurance to your building before move day.
What does the $100 deposit do?
It holds your date on the calendar and comes straight off your final bill, so it is not an extra fee. Cancel with reasonable notice and we rebook or refund it.
Can you store my things between dates?
We can. Short holds between a sale and a closing are common, inventoried by tag at our Burbank yard. Tell dispatch the gap and we quote the hold together with the move.
My street is too narrow for a 26-ft truck. Now what?
Common in the Hills and on Venice walk-streets. We run a smaller shuttle vehicle from your door to the truck. Aaron scouts the access when you book, so there is no surprise at the curb.

Are you really 24/7?
Yes. The 247 in the LLC name is literal. Andre’s cell goes day and night and Dmitri Volkov works the 8pm-8am chair from Sherman Oaks.
What is your hourly rate?
$199/hr for two movers and a clean truck, signed up front. Stairs and wrap included.
Do you do flat rates?
Yes — 1BR at $625, 2BR at $1,350, 3BR at $2,495. We sign the figure before we touch a box.
How much is long-distance from LA?
From $3,295 on the shorter I-5 and I-15 runs — San Diego, Vegas, Phoenix. The same Andre-led crew loads and unloads.
Can you reach Hollywood Hills?
Yes. Aaron Park runs the Westside crew with 16-ft shuttles on Mulholland switchbacks and Bel Air canyon driveways.
Do you handle studio set strikes?
Yes — Warner Bros, Disney, Paramount, Sony Culver City, and Universal. $2,495 per crew with a 4-hr minimum.
Can you move CAA, UTA, or WME offices?
Yes. We’ve handled relocations around the talent-agency footprint with after-hours COIs and weekend windows.
Languages?
Andre takes Korean calls; Carmen Reyes handles EN/ES intake from East LA. We field three languages across the LA metro.
What is the deposit?
$275, applied to the bill, refundable up to 48 hours before the move.
Are you licensed and insured?
Fully licensed and insured California household-goods mover, with state HHG license and US DOT/MC interstate authority on file. $1M cargo coverage.
Same-day or next-day moves?
Yes — we hold one truck back every weekend for last-minute work. Ask Dmitri at the overnight desk what slots are open.
What about Santa Ana winds?
We use UV-rated sealed-bag wrap during wind season so dust and embers don’t reach your textiles, and we run A/C-only through Sepulveda Pass during summer heat.
How do claims work?
Federal $0.60-per-pound baseline with full-value protection upgrade available on the contract. 9-month claim window; in-house repair shop touches up most chips at no cost.
Where is the yard?
4521 Hollywood Way, Burbank CA 91505 — between BUR airport and the Warner Bros lot. Walk-ins welcome 9am-5pm.
