When the truck can’t reach the door, the plan is everything. Here’s the sequence for a canal or walk-street address:
- Legal staging. We find the closest permitted truck spot and measure the carry distance to your door.
- Cart relay. Furniture rolls on flatbed dollies across the footbridge or down the walk-street, padded for the trip.
- Coastal wrap. Stretch film and blankets on anything sand and salt air can pit or corrode.
- Load and go. The crew tetris-packs the 26-ft truck once everything reaches the curb.
What it costs and how long it takes
A long carry adds crew time, so most canal moves book a third mover to keep the hourly clock reasonable.
