Before Pro Express Moving existed, Andre Park spent seven years dispatching North American Van Lines out of their LA branch, routing other people’s trucks across the basin. He learned which buildings hide their loading docks, which HOAs demand a certificate of insurance, and how a middleman’s promise falls apart on move day. In 2018 he bought his first 26-ft truck and started answering the phone himself.
How Pro Express grew
The company has stayed deliberately small and truck-owned. No franchise, no middleman layer, no leads sold off to the highest bidder.
- 2018: Andre opens Pro Express with one truck and a two-person crew.
- 2020: the operation settles into the Burbank yard at 4521 Hollywood Way, wedged between the BUR airport and the Warner Bros lot.
- 2023: the fleet reaches six 26-ft trucks, all staffed by W-2 movers.
- Today: dispatch runs 24/7 and Andre still picks up after hours.
